This morning I actually got around to talking to B about my idea for getting her to do some of the “extension” activities with K after Play School. She was quite enthusiastic about the idea, and I headed off to the shower this morning to the scene of them playing toy hospital *g* B has gone back to her computer but K has taken the idea and run with it – she is currently “on the phone” to the doctor. A nice change to find her playing independently – she must just have gotten into a rut about turning to Play School whenever she was bored and with a little bit of redirection (and the ability to find her toys and have floor space for playing!) she’s getting back into imaginative play again.
